We are getting issues with new Samsung device J1 2016 ( S/N SMJ120ZN) in one of the application background processing.
Our application is completely based on background processing and it handles all its task in the background. To achieve this functionality we are using Android''''s native IntentService with AlarmManager.
This functionality is working perfectly fine with various devices (Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Samsung Tab4, Samsung Tab3, Samsung S5), but when we run the same application in Samsung J1 we have identified that Alarm service is not responding in the correct interval that is provided, below are the observations:
Time interval to occur Actual time was taken to occur
1 sec 55 sec
2 sec 76 sec
10 sec 84 sec
60 sec 90 sec
We request any help please get some advice for this abrupt behaviour of the Samsung J1 2016 device.
